This was the 2nd year in a row that we make a November Yosemite trip. I think we’re on to something here. The weather was slightly cold and the sun fell a little earlier than we would have hoped, but the views of this place never fail. If there is another place that makes me feel the way Yosemite Valley makes me feel, I need to find it as soon as possible!
I've known Ben and Janet for about 4 years now and this is my second time working with them as a photographer. Our first session was about 2 years ago and they made that so easy for me that when they asked me this time around, I didn't even hesitate to say yes. They're always so sweet and easy to work with... and they ALWAYS look good too! I mean just look at them :).
One of the greatest perks of being a photographer is getting to meet so many wonderful people. Agata and her family were such a joy to work with. We casually chatted and shared some laughs and before we knew it, we had captured some cool family shots and it was time for them to head to dinner. Did I mention that I really enjoy what I do? :)
Late last year I was looking for a couple who was recently married and willing to live their wedding day again. Well, not quite that extreme... But I did want someone who didn't mind throwing on their wedding attire again and have a little fun in front of the camera. Sandra and Juan were referred to me through mutual friends and I couldn't have asked for more. As a couple they were extremely sweet and adorable with each other... and as clients they made my job easy...
Sony and Fam were in town from Northern California and they wanted to get a quick family session done and after a referral from a mutual friend, I was flattered that they asked me to do it. Once they showed up I was excited because they were all so open and kind and I could tell they were going to have a little fun with it... and I was right. Even though the weather was a little "off" they didn't let it stop them from keeping smiles on their faces :).
This shoot gave me another chance to catch up with an old friend! I've known Melissa since elementary school, but I hadn't seen her in years! When she asked me if I would take photos of her family, I knew I had to say yes... and I'm glad I did. Her family is adorable!! Thank you Melissa!
I've known these two love birds since before high school. So getting to document the now pregnant version of them is pretty awesome. But really though, Carlos and Jasmine are wonderful people and I wish them all the best with their lovely little addition :).
Ann + Todd were such a joy to work with... and their kiddos?? ADORABLE! Little man sure made us work for our photos, but our time with them was spent as if we've known them for years. ** photos by me and @Jennyandcophotography **
I've known Corey since the 6th grade! So taking photos of his family 21 years later is pretty cool when you really think about it. We hung out for about an hour in HB and got some sweet shots along the way. The weather was perfect and the company was even better. Thank you Newmans!
At less than a mile away from beautiful Old Town Orange, CA, The French Estate is definitely a hidden gem! I had the pleasure shooting a wedding there a while back and I was in awe as soon as I arrived. I was instantly hooked.
I headed down to South Orange County for a photoshoot with Amber and her super adorable girls just a bit over a week ago. What started off as a family shoot ended up turning into some fun camera time for the girls.. and I think they enjoyed it. Here's what we came up with...
I've known Casey for years! He's a great guy. And the truth is, I don't remember seeing him light up the way he does when he's around his little girl. I'm so glad I got to capture some special moments with his adorable little family!
The love between these two precious ladies is incredible. I get to witness it just about every day. It's real and it's always there. The fact that I got to capture for them through images makes me happy. I love these girls.
As Jenny's birthday approached, I knew I wanted to do something special so I offered to do a photo shoot for her. Right away, she knew she wanted to work with her good friend and stylist/makeup artist Tanya Claire. And we're glad we did.
I've known Freddy for years. Just a bit over 20! So when we talked about possibly working together for his engagement photos I was excited. It's always such a great feeling when you get to work with your friends.
Jessica and Christian are ATHLETES! And not just your everyday gym goer. This crossfit couple is at the top of their game and I got to spend an evening with them to witness it firsthand. I was inspired!
Zach and Tawny's wedding at the French Estate was PERFECT. it is such a beautiful venue and their style was on point! It also doesn't hurt that they are some of the kindest people ever. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work with them on their big day.
I got the chance to hang out with my friends Ashley and Matt this past weekend. It's always fun to hang out with these two lovebirds and this time it was cool to be able to snap some photos of them as well. We set aside a quick hour to stroll through the not-so-green rolling hills of Irvine for some quick pics so they could build up an appetite for their dinner date. I think it worked :)
Who says Craigslist is not a good place to meet people? I got to meet Ali and Andrew through CL and when they told me they were starting up a vintage wedding rental company, I knew we had to work together on a project... so I asked... and they said YES. And here's what we did!
Krista Jon is one of the most talented floral designers in Southern California. Her work can be seen in many of today's top wedding magazine and has worked with some of the top photographers in the nation as well. Getting the chance to work with her was nothing short of incredible. You can see her love for what she does and that is amazing.
